We want to contribute to originality in the digital world. With growing use of AI, we believe there will always be a desire for real content, created from the human heart. It's still people, at the end of the day, who are choosing you and your product. It matters how it feels for people, even if they aren't quite aware of it at the time. And it's up to us to align with that vision.

Just because it's faster, or easier, doesn't mean we should take the shortcut.

Kinda takes the fun out of it too, don'tcha reckon? Especially from a creative perspective. Could say I am old school, but it's the process that matters. It's where I learn. It's where the growth is. And it's where the fun is. Every opportunity to slow things down and take some time with it is important, in my opinion.

Google's opinion matters.

Google is an extremely well-known source of information. They monitor page ranking, Google Business Profiles (GBP), moderating reviews and deeming what is considered spam, all because they have a reputation to uphold - as being a trustworthy source. Consumers trust Google because of this, and it is why following their rules can be hugely beneficial for your business's online visibility. They have helpful guidelines that really lay it all out for your too, if you take the time to read and keep up to date with them.

Originality is one way we can stand out from the rest.

Last updated on the 5th October 2026, in Google for Developers a quote directly from their Google Search Guide:

"Google's automated ranking systems are designed to prioritize helpful, reliable information that's created to benefit people, and not content that's created to manipulate search engine rankings."

We understand this to be the importance of real content in all areas online. This reflects this desire for many people, for real-life, quality, authentic imagery (and content, see my other blog posts about that) on websites and GBPs. Both Google and people notice when content is not only unique but helpful and meaningful too.

Photos are evidence of the work you did. If you're a builder, photographs of before and afters. If you are a beautician, photos of clients' faces (with clients permission of course). Photos of you in action with a client. These are all things we would come and photograph you doing as part of a monthly visibility partnership with Luminera. Depending on your line of work, it's so helpful for your clients/consumers to understand what you do. It also builds trust and evidence of your speciality, your skills in a certain area, so people know what to expect.

In the spirit of connecting the digital world with the real one and keeping things authentic, here's a real image of me in action at one of our monthly photo shoots with a client! Showing just two of the classic poses I seem to find my self doing to ‘get the shot.’ I love photography so I really enjoy this aspect for what we offer to our clients.
